Call to action is a function that will pop a ballon in the side of your widget providing a message and a action button.
By standards it ask for the user make a search. You can enable / disable it over the Appearance tab of your admin area.
This function can be used for other's purposes that is not only searching.
In the Settings > Automation tab you can tune your call to action pop-over.
Delay:
Set the Delay in seconds before the CTA message appears.
Welcome Message (Text or Auto "Default Message)
Represents the first part of the CTA message. Example "Looking for something?".
Action Message (Text or Auto "Default Message)
Represents the second part of the CTA Message. This message is clickable and receives a link. Example "Click here".
Link (Url or Auto "Opens the search modal")
Here you can place any url that will opens by clicking in the Action Message Text.
